Hi! My name is Monica Nagy I am a SWFL native and a survivor of familial sex trafficking. I am also the founder and executive director of our organization, I AM F.U.S.E. F.U.S.E stands for Free, Unashamed, Safe, and Empowered and our mission is to eradicate human trafficking by empowering one survivor at a time. I've always had a passion for empowering women to use their voice to share their story, unashamed. I'm also passionate about bringing awareness to human trafficking and helping those who are vulnerable. I want to help break the cycle of exploitation by using my experiences and trainings to equip survivors in our community to become independent, to live a sustainable life, and to live a life of freedom.

This year, 2022, our team decided to expand in a way we never dreamt of before. We launched our Social Enterprise, The Unashamed Co. We help abolish slavery with fair-trade ethical fashion and goods. We source ethical products, allowing our artisans to work a sustainable job, take care of their families, and empower their communities. Every item in our boutique makes a difference in the lives of so many people and allows them to share their Unashamed story. Our boutique also gives the opportunity for women survivors to learn new skills, build work history for their resume, and most importantly create something to showcase their transformation. We’re empowering women by providing job training programs and providing a space for them to be creative and grow in confidence.
